Terms of Use

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

RoboThreads (“RoboThreads”, “we”, “us”) is operated by RoboThreads.cc, based in Ontario, Canada. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website robothreads.cc, your account, the RoboThreads browser extension and any related services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, installing the extension or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

RoboThreads is a browser extension with an AI side panel for Threads. Depending on your plan and settings, it can help you find posts, collect public post data from pages you open, analyze posts, generate draft posts and comments, and send comments manually or automatically after you confirm the conditions.

RoboThreads is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram or Threads. “Threads” and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
• You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password and extension sign-in key confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@robothreads.cc if you believe your account or key has been compromised.

4. Plans, payments and refunds

• Plans. Access to the Service requires a paid plan (for example 1, 3 or 12 months). Prices are shown on the website and at checkout in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout.
• Reseller. Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, sales tax/VAT, invoices and billing support for your purchase, and its terms and policies also apply. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Renewal and cancellation. If your plan renews automatically, this will be stated at checkout. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds. Because you get immediate access to digital software, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where the checkout page states otherwise. If something does not work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will review your request in good faith.
• Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. Changes never affect a period you have already paid for.
• Chargebacks. If you dispute a valid charge, we may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved.

5. License and restrictions

Subject to these Terms and an active plan, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the extension on up to two devices linked to your account. You may not:

• share, sell, rent or publish your account, password or sign-in key, or let others use your plan;
• copy, modify, distribute, resell or create derivative works of the extension, except as permitted by law;
• reverse engineer, decompile or bypass any licensing, device limits, rate limits or security measures;
• use the Service to build a competing product, or access it through automated means other than the features we provide.

6. Threads and other platforms: your responsibility

The Service works inside Threads using your own Threads account in your own browser. You are solely responsible for how you use your Threads account, including:

• complying with the Threads and Instagram Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and any other rules of Meta or other platforms;
• every post and comment published from your account, whether sent manually or by automatic sending you started;
• the pace, limits and targets you choose for automatic sending.

Automated or frequent actions may lead to limits, restrictions, suspension or loss of your Threads account. We do not control Threads, cannot prevent such actions and are not responsible for them. The extension tries to detect action limits and pause sending, but we do not guarantee it will detect every restriction. Changes made by Threads may also cause features to stop working at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or repetitive, deceptive or misleading content;
• harass, threaten, defame, impersonate or discriminate against anyone;
• publish illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
• collect, store or use other people’s personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws or platform rules, or use collected data for anything other than your own lawful purposes;
• promote illegal products or services, scams, malware or adult content involving minors;
• interfere with or attack the Service, our servers or other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, without refund where permitted by law.

8. AI-generated content

• The Service uses third-party AI models to generate drafts, analyses and selections. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive or inappropriate. Review it before you publish or rely on it.
• Analyses of why a post performed well describe possible reasons only. They are not facts, formulas or guarantees.
• Between you and us, you own the inputs you provide and the outputs generated for you, to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for making sure your use of outputs is lawful and does not infringe anyone’s rights. Similar outputs may be generated for other users.

9. Your data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to provide any content you submit to the Service, including product descriptions, prompts and data you collect from pages you open.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, such as hosting, authentication and database providers, AI model providers and payment processors. If you connect your own AI provider key (for example OpenRouter), your use of that provider is governed by its own terms and billing, and you are responsible for any charges it makes. We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change or remove features, AI models or limits, and may perform maintenance. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice where possible and, where required by law, a pro-rated refund for unused paid time.

12. No guarantee of results; disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee any particular results, including leads, clients, sales, followers, engagement, reach or virality, or that any thread found by the Service will be relevant. Example screens, posts, names and numbers on the website are illustrative.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY RESTRICTION, SUSPENSION OR LOSS OF YOUR THREADS OR OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case they apply to the extent permitted.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your use of Threads or other platforms, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 16) survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws in your place of residence give you the right to bring a claim locally. Before starting any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or on the website before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
